"Lootera" makes you want to live in sadness

"Lootera" makes you want to live in sadness, makes you cling to sadness, and to love sadness.
It's not just a story of love, it's a story of survival, a story of hoping against hope, and equally symbolises how non-transient hopelessness can be.
It reflects upon the duality of life, of how a criminal underdog finds bliss in easy-money but contrastingly, finds himself lonely and void of free-will in life.
It justifies who you think is the villain of the story as the hero of the story. You feel sympathy, and your heart goes out to the villian and of how he always had to choose mind over heart.
To me, the hero represented hope and bravery, the heroine represented the darkness of life, the harsh truths of life.
The movie gifted to the world "Sawaar Loon" for the lonely, the hopeful, the hopeless romantics and the happy lovers to find solace in.
